Welcome to 2024!

And may this be a new year filled with expansion, success and joy across the board for all.

We have been in business for nearly twenty years and often field questions regarding potential cost for various design options. Homeowners seeking a new home may wish to add an addition to or redo the interior space plan and design of a potential home on the market to fit their own requirements and taste.

Luxury real estate agents often have a near perfect home for their clients but need to know what can be crafted to achieve their clients dream home. Many times, an existing home on the market can be converted into a client’s dream home with a proper assessment, understanding and creative approach.

A new home can be a canvas, and we are here to help.

Here at New England Design and Construction we pride ourselves on transparency as regards cost for our clients’ projects.

Unfortunately, it has become somewhat of an industry norm for accurate project costs to be vague, confusing or obfuscated. While in the planning stage, homeowners can often feel uncertain about what the actual final cost of a project will be and often the truth about a project’s actual cost will not come to light until well into the construction phase.

The ship can’t be turned at this point and the client is the one who pays the price—literally.

We’ve had clients come to us after spending six figures on architectural plans that then couldn’t be built as once bid to contractors the overall project cost came in far beyond what the client had allocated.

There is nothing vague about our process and we seek to educate our clients on their various design options and the resultant cost connected to each.

This is direct, candid and based on nearly twenty years’ experience designing and remodeling high end and luxury homes across Boston’s Metrowest and the GBA.

We’ve produced and now released a revised edition of our NEDC Remodeling Cost Guide for use by Boston homeowners considering a major home remodel as well as Luxury Real Estate advisors guiding their clients through potential remodeling options.

This is a complimentary resource guide—designed to be a helpful educational resource for all. And we are always here to answer any questions.

Thus, we have created the 2024 NEDC Remodeling Cost Guide to clearly show various home costs based on real world spaces and projects.

NEW ENGLAND DESIGN & CONSTRUCTION CLIENT REVIEWS:

FIVE STARS!

Positive: Professionalism, Punctuality, Quality, Responsiveness, Value

I have nothing but glowing remarks for NEDC. I have worked with many home remodeling firms over the years regarding many small to medium to large remodeling projects and NEDC by far has been the best contractor I have ever dealt with for a host of reasons.

First, they really care about their clients and their home. They are good listeners and work really hard to get you the results you’re looking for on your project. Second, they don’t nickel and dime you and their work is of the highest quality and at a fair price point. Third, the company is well-staffed which means their is always multiple individuals connected to your project to answer questions or address needs or concerns. I have had the best experience with NEDC and can guarantee you that you will too!
